About
Brittini is a freedom writer, preacher and communications consultant.
She is an alum of Virginia Union University and McAfee School of Theology, and has completed several fellowships (see below).
She has worked with women and children experiencing homelessness and poverty in the metro Atlanta area, and serves as the Communications Coordinator of RISE Together Mentorship Network, an Initiative of Union Theological Seminary that connects women of color ministry leaders to experienced women ministers, senior pastors, faculty, and community leaders. She has written for various outlets including Sojourners, Wear Your Voice Mag, Red Letter Christians, and Penn Live.
Her work with organizations and religious institutions has allowed her to write and think about the future of Black humanity. She seeks guidance and wisdom from elders and looks forward to learning from a variety of pedagogical methodologies. Her vision to further empower her skills and abilities is rooted in an urgency to help make a significant and lasting difference in communities of color. Brittini believes to remain silent on issues that disrupt the harmony created by God is not an option and will continue to use her voice and witness to encourage those who feel their dignity has been snatched…to understand they too matter. You can connect with her across social media @BrittiniLPalmer.
She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and co-founder and past president of the Black Student Union- Mercer Atlanta.
Brittini currently resides in New Jersey.
